Really enjoy nick speeds analysis, when he explains it , it seems obvious! I must admit I do most things in a similar order, except having my pole rollers at an angle,(I like to be able to walk round my box) My only problem I do have is using a catapult, as I'm right handed but left handed with a catapult, no matter how much I try I just can't do it,it goes all on my footplate😂 I don't want to use a bump bar to help, as it gets in the way. Cant wait for the next episode, Well done enjoy these👍

I bought the Aryzon 10ft pellet waggler rod and Aryzon 3000 reel. The rod is very light when compared to Drennan Acolyte rods. It is responsive and has a bit of power for its weight. Its not bad at all. The reel was a disaster. Line repeatedly wraps over the front edge of the spool. Either the spool is not tall enough or the spool travel is too much. The line is being wrapped beyond the limits of the spool. Tried spool spacers,but then the spool ratchet doesn't work if you add enough spacers. There are also sharp edges on the bail arm which cuts your line. Time after time my line was breaking at the reel. Leaving many yards of line out. I took the reel back for a refund. Tackle shop didn't argue when I demonstrated how the line gets cut. Poor design is the culprit. There is a gap where the bail arm fits into the roller bearing housing. Line gets trapped in the gap and breaks the line. Tackle shop checked their stock and all the Aryzon 3000 sized reels had the same issue. 4000 size has a different bail arm fitment.

i just used the 1mm pelltetz for my feeder fishing and the pellets went into a dough and pellets were a mess i know how to do pellets used em for many many years and the 1m pellets from adranline are worst bait iv used and filled less water than the tub told me to do as i dont like a wet pellet and it was messed up was way to wet and it was a mess threw it away and used sonus 1m pellets best on the market

A flood water barbel rod of 1.75 test or 2.2 at 12 ft will do exactly the same especially a korum neoteric ....a blast from the past but it does the job . This is my view on it . A good article as ever from AT. I wonder how many people are going to invest over £200 for the PBR rod, reel, braid. Just to bait up. I understand that match competitors will gain an edge, and increase chance of prize money (so return on the investment). But that is a lot of money over above the actual rod, reel etc for real fishing.

I picked up a Preston Supera 11ft pellet waggler rod today at my local tackle shop. I also tried the Nytro Aryzon 11ft pellet waggler. To be honest, there was not much in it. Preston 250 quid. Aryzon 80 quid.

I bought this rod in a 13' SKP version after your recommendation, but boy is it heavy. My arm aches just after a few minutes so much so it feels top-heavy and like a club. Is there another lighter rod in 12' 13' you could suggest I look at. I use 8lb to 10lb lines in my heavy float rods, thanks.
